Lab Rat (2)

Posted on August 21, 2007 By

About a week ago, I consciously chose the challenge of becoming a ‘Lab Rat’ in the world of the physical once more. This intentional break from the metaphysical has proven to be more of a learning experience than I had ever anticipated, for with that break several things were confirmed:

  • The physical is interesting in a boring kind of way – it is not where I dwell, not where I am driven to be. It can certainly be used to propel one along the path, as some are prone to do, but that way is not mine to tread right now.
  • My attention was disrupted more than I had anticipated, and so it’s a renewed vigilance on the mat and a reminder for constant mindfulness, regardless of apparent activity in the physical.
  • A new appreciation for this blog has arisen, for it provides an opportunity to make concrete those thoughts and experiences and lessons, encasing them in words which bind them to the realm of consciousness – for myself, and so I hope, for others as well.
  • The confirmation that I must pursue this Path, and that my way lies in healing and compassion and sharing, the specific details of which are yet to be revealed. They are coming.
  • It is time to finally and completely resolve any stray, personal old paradigms, thoughts and behaviors. The one or two which have remained so far have had a more extensive impact on my life than previously thought. It is time to reclaim those aspects of my past and to redefine my present reality in order to fully evolve to the next stage of BEing.
  • The next stage of BEing is imminent.
  • Creative expression is an important part of my Path – more than I had thought. It is through this artistic expression that much of my Work can be accomplished.
  • There are more people to reach, more souls to touch with words and deeds of hope and love, compassion, inspiration, and honesty.
  • I am, like each of us are, a conduit for the Eternal. Any deep-seated reservation or skepticism about being so must be put to rest.
  • Reiki also has a larger role on my Path than I had thought. Diligent practice will reap large rewards – personally, Worldly, Universally.
  • A renewed and deepened sense of community, of interconnectedness -virtually and physically, emotionally and metaphysically. The underlying essence of all beings as expressions of the same Universal Life Force… and the gentle prodding from Spirit to remind us all that we are ONE.

Peace & Reflection on the Eternal.
Namaste.

Pathwalking

  1. Nancy says:

I have been clawing my way back physically by tending to the spiritual. So I guess we have been traveling the same path, again 🙂 but in an opposite way lol
I’ve had an energy shift where I used to connect to spirit through the solar plexus as I was taught by my healing teachers in the past.
I have found now through my progressions of self/spirit (lots of crying involved:)) the energy I’m connecting to is from the heart chakra and above. I went through a period of about two weeks of feeling that I couldn’t connect to spirit. Which was really strange. Then the shift happened and when I thought of spirit and connection the warmth was in my chest and it traveled upward.
With this shift I have felt so much better:) lighter, happier.
I’m seeing people by this reflection now, through the heart. People ‘feel’ much friendlier to me and I am, I believe ‘friendlier’ more interesting in relating to others this way too!:)
    I’m a happy camper!! LOL
Thanks so much for your insights. I’m happy that you have come to those conclusions as to blogging and helping others this way. I believe it to me true too.
