Reflections

Poking around your blog, and this one really stuck out at me. We project our beliefs onto others, others only affect us because our buttons are there to be pushed, etc, etc – all the lessons I’ve learnt, summaried in one little quote. Awesome!

  2. *nods* Yes, indeed – it is through our own eyes and our own thoughts that we experience the world and upon which we project our expectations, our experiences, our disappointments, joys, hopes and fears. It is difficult to see truly, with eyes open to reality, uninfluenced by ourselves… but that is the task at hand, isn’t it? That is the Path upon which we tread.

Albert, I am glad that you have stopped by my blog, gladdened that this quote struck such a chord for you (it is one of my favorite ‘summarizing’ quotes as well), and appreciate the comment. It is always nice to meet others walking the Path.

    Namaste.
