(slightly) Mischievous
Halloween… a day overflowing with history, symbolism, spiritual meaning and festivities… but instead of writing up a serious post about any of that, or railing against the degree of consumerism sweeping many up in the holiday (to the tune of $5B!), I thought some jokes were in order instead (these are kid-safe)!
Hope you like what I’ve dug up (ha ha ha!)…
- Why was the mummy so tense?
– He was all wound up - What’s a monster’s favorite play?
– Romeo and Ghouliet - What kind of mistakes do spooks make?
– Boo boos - What’s the ratio of a pumpkin’s circumference to its diameter?
– Pumpkin Pi - What are little ghosts dressed in when it rains?
– Boo-ts and ghoul-oshes! - How do you stop a werewolf chasing you?
– Throw a stick and say fetch! - Who is the most important member of the ghost’s football team?
– The ghoulie! - What is a Mummie’s favorite type of music?
– Wrap! - What type of monster really loves dance music?
– The boogieman! - How can you tell when a vampire has been in a bakery?
– All the jelly has been sucked out of the jelly doughnuts.
Be safe, and enjoy the festivities… whether commercial, spiritual, a bit of both, or something else!
Namaste.
