Means and Ends
In my last post, I stated that the U.S. Federal Government seems to see itself as some kind of babysitter for all mankind. What I didn’t mention was that in order to secure this role for current and future generations, it is currently quite busy making power grabs in just about all aspects of our lives – private industry, banking, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and much, much more. Some of the spin the mass media (government propaganda) outlets are putting on these “advancements” (a.k.a. power grabs and attacks on individual freedoms) may sound pretty good… at least until you start actually thinking about them and doing the real, independent research into the policies that are actually being written – and passed!

Where, Oh Where has the Monkey gone?
This Monkey has not been terribly Mystical lately, and has been living and being distracted by the physical life – overwhelmed by our (U.S.) political situation and been utterly astounded to see the rearing and roaring head of Socialism in what is… was… is supposed to be the seat of Freedom and Independence. Yes, politics has taken the Mystical Monkey away from this blog, for what role does politics play in the sharing of the Light and ultimate evolution of humanity? Well, not much. Or does it?
I have been contemplating that question a lot the last several months,

A Beautiful World
With all the deceit and manipulation going on in the physical world these days, it seems very appropriate to post this immediately on the heels of the last video and to blast a bit more Light and Love back into the world!
Namaste, and Always with Light and Love,

And First An Hour
And First An Hour
And first an hour of mournful musing
And then a gush of bitter tears
And then a dreary calm diffusing
Its deadly mist o’er joys and caresAnd then a throb and then a lightening
And then a breathing from above
And then a star in heaven brightening
The star the glorious star of love
– Emily Bronte
As with all things, our emotions go through phases. It is the processing and release of these emotions that frees us from the turmoil within and the turmoil without. Grasping at the artificial structures of our human world is the fodder for sorrow and fuel for pain. Yet we often carry those embers… those subtle seed flames… smoldering deep within us by holding on to some form of attachment and ego. Even the barest of remnants can prohibit us from truly claiming our birthrights of freedom, of abundance, of joy, happiness and contentment.
Allow yourself the time to process your thoughts and emotions completely, then let them go… and be free to live In Love, With Love, for all.
Namaste.

Happy ThanChristmas!
Here in the US, we’re getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving – a time when the early Settlers were so thankful for the bountiful harvest they received with the help of the Native Americans that they gathered together and shared their food and friendship with each other. Much thanks was shared for it meant that lives were saved and many hardships for the upcoming winter were averted. It meant they would survive. And they were thankful.
But that was a couple hundred years ago, and My! – How things have changed! (more…)
Presidential ’08s?
With a presidential election underway now in the United States, there’s been a whole lot of talk, debate, accusations, implications, assumptions, coercion, and wrangling of all sorts going on lately. (more…)
Hrrmmm…
I’ve not been writing much lately for a variety of reasons – mostly, that my time to do so has been required for other things, but also that I’ve been experiencing what can only be described as a change in focus. This isn’t a change from the inner/metaphysical, but rather a change that includes a larger scale than dealing only with my personal inner demons. Yes, I’m talking about the state of the World and the current political/economic situation.
Yes, according to Buddha, the ultimate goal is to live In the world and not Of it, and although this is idealistically true, with a certain awareness also comes a certain responsibility. (more…)
