Do (2)…

Changes are coming. Some have come already. And we are changing with it. The transition is inevitable – it’s underway now! As Lightworkers, Healers and the Spiritually-inclined, we know this. But it is not always as easy to navigate through these changes as we would like. Although our supply of Light and Love is limitless, our physical form is not always up to the task and sometimes we find ourselves needing a small break. It is part of our natural cycle. So what things can we do to help spread the Light, regardless of our training, experiences, or the waxing or waning of our particular cycle?

We can…

  • Live in the moment… in each moment, as many moments as you can, as often as you can. Appreciate the moments, and cherish them. All we truly have is moments… one after the next after the next…
  • Breathe when things get difficult or stressful or anxiety-ridden. Or when you have simply become overloaded with the emotions and the egos of others so much that you have temporarily lost yourself.
  • Go outside, regardless of the weather. Ground yourself. The simple act of being outside for a few minutes has a wonderful effect of reuniting us with the natural world – regardless of the weather, or perhaps specifically because of the weather…
  • Laugh. Live. Play. Dance in the rain and catch snowflakes on your tongue. Hug a tree. Hug a loved one. Smile at a stranger. Do a kind deed. Dig your toes in the sand, yell from the top of a mountain, climb a tree. Plant something. Make a mud pie. Let your imagination be your guide…
  • Live from the Heart… for that is where truth endures, compassion lives, and hope resides.
  • Do whatever it is that you do, and do it well, keeping the goodness and kindness of humanity close to heart, always.

When we tire from the task on-hand, or get lost within the influences of those whom we seek to heal, take a break. Recuperate a bit. For a while, let another take your place lighting the lanterns so others may find the steps they need upon the Path. We may just be giving others the opportunity they need for their next step on the Path, finding more of our brethren to help with the upcoming tasks in the process.

Namaste.

Evolution to Light

to the changes and living in the moment–great piece
    thanks

  2. Thank you Derick,
It’s good to be back and it’s good to see you once more.

This entry reminds me of how what seems to be basic thinking to some of us, not only slips away from our forefront in the business of daily living, but is also so foreign to others.

I spent the weekend with a pack of lively 15-16 years olds, and it amazed me how misdirected their energy was. It also amazed me how influential they were. After only a few words, they saw the power of positive actions & reactions to every day incidents.

I walked away from them knowing how even a small word of direction may influence anyone to give love & kindness through the smallest of actions…and in reaction, they may give love & kindness to others as well.

    Thanks for the reminder Monkey!!

  4. Thank you, Dreama. It sounds like you had an insightful experience with that pack of teens over the weekend! We are all influenced by those things around us as well as by each other to some degree or another – the trick is being able to break through those influences (some more subtle than others, and some are quite deeply entrenched in our psyches!) to see the world as it is and to see it with our hearts.

Congratulations to you for providing some caring, guiding words for those teens. Perhaps that small gesture on your part will have major repercussions as that seed eventually sprouts in the hearts of those teens…

    Namaste.
